Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

The advance way of marketing via Internet is the search engine marketing. It use to be done via internet. So the Search engine marketing (SEM) is a form of Internet marketing that involves the promotion of websites by increasing their visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs) through optimization (both on-page and off-page) as well as through advertising (paid placements, contextual advertising, and paid inclusions). Depending on the context, SEM can be an umbrella term for various means of marketing a website including search engine optimization (SEO), which adjusts or rewrites website content to achieve a higher ranking in search engine results pages, or it may contrast with PPC, focusing on only paid components. SEM mainly depends upon the different geographically located visitors or the customers. In next side it can be said that the grant unique marketing.

Search Engine Marketing is extremely known as the SEM as we know well. But the theme or the meaning with in the real world is also likely to be same but it seems bit different way of marketing in one its about the Internet marketing within a boundary of the Internet. It use to be done with the Internet. So its called the Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
